I am the wife of a two year Hodgkin's Lymphoma Survivor. I make my living during the day but after tucking our little boy into bed at night, I make my life in part by supporting families as they move through a cancer diagnosis.
I am not a child life expert, an oncologist or a psychochologist. I will never pretend to be. But I will share the resources that I create or discover and I will help you find them too.
My little boy always says, "Let's hold hands and help each other be brave." He was two and sitting on my lap when his Daddy got his diagnosis. I know the thoughts that go through a spouse's mind at that moment and I know how it feels to look over my shoulder every three months. And although I do not know how it feels to have chemo, I know how it feels to hold his hand and try to hold it all together.
I am Living Sunny Side Up.
