There is little time as well spent as the time we spend reading to our children. It provides physical closeness and the opportunity to take an imaginative journey together. If there is a tough conversation about a cancer diagnosis that needs to take place in your home, consider using a book to bridge the troubled waters. Let age appropriate words join colorful illustrations and let the characters do the talking.
